In-Between

Cool temperatures are returning, yet autumn leaves haven’t yet fallen. This in-between garden time is perfect for weeding and cleaning beds so you can spread mulch on them before the rain (or snow). Another task is putting away soaker hoses and other summer time items. I’m delaying turning on the heat, but the dogs and I are bundled up in sweaters. Soon the leaves on the Katsura tree will turn peachy-yellow & when the sun comes out, the cotton candy aroma will permeate through the yard.

Which outdoor tasks occupy you during this in-between garden time?
